With gratitude to the Lord, we are delighted to inform you that the 6th Chapter of the Province ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe’ (Latin America), on 28 July 2026, elected Sr. Lucia Duacastella as Provincial Prioress for the next four years, and Sr. Elisa Contreras and Sr. Sandra Saraceno as Provincial Assistants.

The Provincial Chapter took place from 20 to 29 July 2026 in Canuelas (Argentina). Guided by the theme: “Embracing what is essential, we give ourselves with boundless generosity” and by the biblical figure of Nicodemus (John 3:1–21), the sisters attending the Chapter experienced intense days of reflection, listening, discernment and prayer, to arrive at the lines of action that will guide the life and mission of the Province over the next four years.

We entrust the new Provincial Council to your prayers as it begins this service, asking the Lord to bless and sustain the entire path and mission of our sisters in the Province of Latin America.
